KILLING AMY WASN’T WRONG
KILLING AMY WASN’T WRONG
YOU ALMOST GOT US BOTH KILLED
QUIT BEING A BITCH
I’m sorry, but I really don’t think Sam would have been wrong to pop him one, here, and that is my honest opinion. I think that Dean, yes, deserves it, but he also needs a good hard punch in the jaw, because he needs to be knocked out of whatever fantasy world he’s living in, and back into the present and needs to start actually dealing with shit.
Also I enjoy this - they are back together but they are not hunky-dory.
Excite for episode is yes.
Oh God.
It hurts.
I didn’t think it would hurt this much. Ah, the pain.
But let me be clear for a moment. Because it does not surprise me at all that Dean still doesn’t believe that killing Amy was wrong. Because all Dean saw was that she was a monster and that she killed people.
What does bother me is that Dean used the fact that Sam is hallucinating against him. Because that is going to screw Sam up. Sam seems fine right now, yes, but we have to remember that Sam’s very sanity is dependent upon Dean. Sam convinces himself of what is real and what is not based upon his belief in Dean. If Sam can’t trust Dean (and remember, Dean told him that Sam has to trust him - that it has to be “stone number one”), if he feels like Dean is actually blaming him for what happens when he hallucinates?
What is that going to mean for Sam’s hallucinations? How is he going to be able to tell what is real and what is not when what he uses to define that is crumbling?
I’m scared. I’m really, really scared. Because Sam is falling apart and only has Dean to go to. Dean is self-destructing and refusing to lean on Sam. I’m afraid they’re both just going to fall apart and no one is going to be there to catch them.
TRYING
OH SO HARD
TO RAIN IN
MY FEELINGS
But let me just say one thing…right now…while I’m clenching my jaw and trying to howl and kick and cry: Dean needs a good hard old-fashioned gloves off, rings on, so hot it’s cold kind of back-handed slap. Fucking hell, man! I can’t believe Dean just used Sam’s hallucinations (the grief, the pain, the struggle, the madness) against him. Wow. Way to be an awesome brother, Dean. Way to be trustworthy and loving. You’re so awesome Dean. I hope all that denial and repression is working for you, love, I really do *slow clap*
How come I never realized Dean is apparently rubbing Sams back to comfort him in this scene?
I’m just gonna go ahead and bring this back.
I love both of them here: they’re not thinking about what they’re doing at all, like this is a thing that’s happened hundreds of times throughout the years. Dean, who self-medicates and bottles everything up and starts threatening punches if people try to comfort him, knows that Sam is the opposite - and the way to comfort Sam is through this sort of basic human contact. And Sam is sitting there, letting himself be comforted, letting his big brother do what he needs to do because, well, if Sam ain’t happy, ain’t nobody happy.
In this way, I think they both feel slightly better.
Misha Collins:
- The one that I’m the most sexually attracted to.
- The one with the sickest sense of humor (which is also closest to my own).
- (Character: Castiel) The most adorably naive.
Jensen Ackles:
- The one I’m most visually attracted to.
- The shyest (at least IMO) (although…

THIS SO MUCH.
CHARACTER CONSISTENCY, WHAT CHARACTER CONSISTENCY?
The continuity is that she’s human and they don’t kill humans. That’s been stated explicitly in previous witch episodes.
Excuse me, human? I thought she was a 800-year-old witch.
what Konst said: they were talking about having these fights back in the Renaissance, which was a couple of hundred years ago so… yeah… definitely NOT human… and even IF they were human - they were practically serial killers!! nothing innocent about them AT. ALL.
it didn’t make sense that Don saved the boys twice, sure, was nice but unrealistic… and that they just let them go after their little fight? after all they’re hunters, like they already knew… it just didn’t make fucking sense
Why is this happening? The premise of this episode is lame. WHY can’t we move forward? Jo? Really? I was cool with you because you never really went down that road with Dean. I enjoyed these characters, but to keep bringing back people who are long gone is LAME. Well, at least this time I know who Jo is…unlike when Lisa came back I had NO IDEA who she was.
LET’S MOVE FORWARD. PLEASE.
Crystal: *standing ovation* YES. PREACH.
